Registration is currently closed and will re-open on March 22. Please note, if you will be paying by credit card, you can complete your registration on-line prior to coming to the registration desk at the conference site.Then, simply get in the "On-Site" Registration line to pick up your materials.

Begin your Registration


The deadline for receipt of early registration at the reduced rate is midnight (EST), Friday, February 3, 2017. After that date, this program will continue to be available for online registration at the advance rate until midnight, March 17, 2017. Subsequent registrations will only be accepted onsite, at the conference.

Advance Registration Deadline


The deadline for receipt of advance registration at the reduced rate is March 17, 2017. Credit cards must be used to register for the Conference via this site which will open on October 3, 2016. After March 17, those registering onsite will be assessed an additional $40 administrative fee.





Payment must be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover). Credit card payments will not be accepted by telephone or fax.



Cancellation of Advance Registration


A $50 processing fee will be charged for all registration cancellations. Registration cancellations will be accepted and refunds processed by sending a written request via e-mail to Cancellation requests must reach the GSA office by February 20, 2017. After that date, no refunds will be made.  If you have already received your name badge, it must be returned to the GSA office (9650 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20814-3998 Attn: Suzy Brown) in order to receive the refund.



Program Book


All registrants receive one complimentary copy of the Program Book, with full schedule information including platform and poster session date, time, title, authors, etc. as well as the keyword, speaker/author and Flybase Genetic indexes. Full abstract text will only be available online and will not be printed in the Program Book.  You are encouraged to print full abstracts for those sessions of interest before leaving home.  If you would like to receive your book in advance, you will have the option of printing the Program Book, including full abstracts in book format, for a fee, through a third-party vendor.  Information regarding this option will be sent to registered attendees in mid-March and will also be posted here.



On-Site Registration Hours


The registration and book pick up area will be located in the convention center at the Town & Country Resort & Conference Center and will be open according to the following schedule:

Thursday, March 30   8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Friday, March 31   8:15 AM–5:00 PM
Saturday, April 1   8:15 AM–3:00 PM



By attending a GSA conference, you grant GSA with the right to use your photograph, name, and likeness for use in GSA educational, news, or promotional materials. GSA will take steps to avoid sharing the content of presentations and posters in order to protect unpublished data. Please note that the use of cameras and other recording devices in plenary, platform, and poster sessions is prohibited without expressed permission from an authorized GSA representative
